The match represented a new attempt to stop the powerful leader of the League. Even without several important players, Pwc Malta provided great resistance to the leader. Pwc Malta started very well in the second half, but after poorly organized player substitutions and visible fatigue, they broke under the pressure. Casino Malta was an equable opponent throughout the whole game and all the visitors had enough materials to discuss the actions of both sides.
